Reality struck

Just had my 12 week ultrasound scan at Rosie Maternity Hospital. I thought I'll only see a peanut looking thing floating around inside my tummy. I was surprised to see it looking like a baby! I can see it very clearly, even the heart beat! As the scanner moved, at one point, the baby even jumped! How cute :D I can't help crying.. *sob* .. Looks like the baby is enjoying it more than I do.

I told the lady who did the scan, that the 11 weeks old written in the midwife log was just a guess. Apparently it was a good guess :D She said, the baby is around 11 weeks old. A bit bigger than 11 weeks. Probably between 11 and 12 weeks. Shouldn't really make much difference to the delivery date.

The most important thing is, there's only ONE baby *phew*, and as far as she can see, there's nothing wrong with the baby. It will be clearer in the 20 week's scan. Supposed to have the scan between 16th and 26th August, but that time I'll be away in Singapore/Indonesia, so the scan appointment is on Wednesday, 1st September.

We took 4 pictures of the baby, and we'll scan it as well to send around to ppl. Line up ppl, if you want to see the first glimpse of my baby! :D
