Scan appointment

My first scan appointment will be on the Wednesday, 23rd June at 9am. The lady who answered my call also asked when my last period was. I said, uh.. I don't remember. She said just roughly, so she can make the 12 week dating scan appointment correctly. Well it will be roughly correct then :D I said first week of April, coz that's when I thought it was. A note to everyone who's planning to have a baby, take note of your first day of period every month, because your last period is the starting date of your pregnancy. How was I supposed to know? *doh*

Now I really need to get in touch with that midwife. I've been trying to contact her since Friday morning. This time I actually left a message on her pager, not on her voicemail, and another midwife (on duty) responded to my message. She said my midwife is off duty today and said I need to book an appointment with the midwife from the clinic after the first appointment. I said, I haven't got my first appointment yet! She said "Ohh.. ok. I'll pass your message to her then." Now I'm anxiously waiting for her call. Hopefully tomorrow. The thing is, the lady who book my scan appointment said I need to bring the notes I get from my midwife. This means this midwife appointment needs to go before the scan!

In order for the scan to be readable, my bladder needs to be full. This needs careful planning. Usually the first thing I do in the morning is empty my bladder. This is going to be quite a challenge.

Thanks for everyone who asked about the robbery at Argopuro. My mum checked the safe deposit box, and she found everything that she had there (i mean jeweleries etc). Apart from having to pay 1.2 million rupiahs to forcefully open the safe deposit box and having to furiously wait for the key man to come from 2pm to 6pm at the bank, she's okay.

Been watching "Golden faith", a HK drama series starring Gallen Lo, Derrick Wan, Jessica Hsuan. It's okay. Can't really compare the series to the one I just watched, "A step into the past". Louis Koo is just incomparable to anyone :D Besides, they make the Gallen Lo's character too kindhearted. Just to illustrate my point, he left his future, sacrificed his love for his family, although his family repeatedly accused him wrongly and even trapped him and brought him to court for murder he did not commit. Come on, no human (read: man) is that nice!

"A step into the past" is different. It's supposed to be a bit "unbelievable". Louis Koo from 21st century went back to Qin dynasty era. Here, Louis Koo is indeed a very nice man, but he's also very cunning and smart. It makes the series more interesting to watch.

Cathy gave me a link to some HK stars' childhood photos. I immediately recognised Louis Koo :D That's the first I recognise. Then I recognise Tony Leung and Andy Lau. That's about it :D From 15 I can only guessed 3 correctly :D I didn't even recognise Leslie Cheung! I must say, a handsome bloke like Louis was handsome even when he was a kid :D
