Was it planned ?

Any self respecting person would detest to hear the following statement: Was it planned ?

Well, I ask you this: You have been doing something consciously and come up with some extraordinary upshots that even confound your boss who could never be convinced. So, if he says "Brilliant, did you mean for that to happen" a good rejoinder for that would be "No bull fuck, it just came to pass out of the blue".

Why am I saying all this, did something happen at work ? No, not at all. My work mates and my boss think I am the real deal and a golden boy. So, no worries there at all.

But imagine, you say "My wife is pregnant" or your wife picks up the phone and calls someone and says "I am pregnant". Undeniably, we are not looking for "congratulations" or "well done mate": It is as if we are trying to say "Ok: This is for your information. Don't be surprised when the baby comes out in 9 to 10 months". Nothing more I suppose.

"Was it intended Mon?" says her mother !!

Bloody nosy doctor says "Oh, yes you are indeed with child. Was it planned"

WELL bloody yes !

Quick note: Yes, Monica is indeed pregnant and we are expecting a baby in late May / early June 2007.
