Love story in Playdays
This morning me and Agastya went to Playdays at Knox. I should have taken him more often since I can see he enjoys it, but sometimes with all the cooking (for me and for him), it's hard to fit it into the schedule. I didn't have to cook today since there were lots of leftovers from yesterday's cooking, and with the pressure cooker fixed now my cooking time for him also halved, so I thought why not take him to Playdays.
There was this girl, I don't know her name, so just call her Michelle for name sake. She's blonde and a lot older than Agastya, probably 3 years old. She came with her mum and her mother's group (I presume).
From the first time Michelle set an eye on Agastya in the ball pool, she just could not stay far away from him. Anything Aga did, whether it was just throwing balls off the pool, she'd just giggle and laugh. She was so sweet. Every now and then she'd attempt to hug and kiss him. Sometimes Agastya just sort of let her do it, sometimes he looked annoyed and ran the other way. And she kept following him whereever he went.
Meanwhile, there was this boy who came with her (same mother's group), call him Peter. Similar age as her, he was also very cute. Everytime Michelle tried to kiss or hug Agastya, he didn't seem to like it and try to lure Michelle away by inviting her to play other things. And whenever Michelle was not hugging or kissing Agastya, he'd kiss and hug her.
So there he was, my son, being followed by older blondie and her overzealous boyfriend. Such a cute scene and you just had to be there to appreciate it. Either that or I've been watching too many korean, japanese and taiwanese drama that I started to imagine the scenes happen in real life!
My apologies for the appalling frequency of blogging lately. Blame my lack of enthusiasm and too many good dramas being uploaded in youtube!
I have also turned on the word verification and comment moderation for this blog, because I've started to get lots of unwanted spam comments which does not have anything to do with the blog contents. Some people just does not have anything else better to do, eh?
Advance notice to everyone: I won't be blogging or online for 2 months starting 9th June, since I'll be in Indonesia, the land of frustrating internet connection. I'll try to blog once in a while, when I'm in the mood for getting frustrated. However I'm really looking forward to not having any connection whatsoever with the computer and having lots of hands to help with handling Agastya. I could probably sit down and start reading again! Fingers and toes crossed.
