Reverse psychology

... works like a charm.

Scenario 1:

Aga just ate a biscuit and threw the wrapper on the floor.
Me: Aga, pick it up, please, put it in the garbage bin.
Aga: No way.
Me: You've ate the biscuit so you have to put the wrapper into the bin.
Aga: Mommy put it.
Me: Mommy didn't eat it. You put it. Right now.
Aga: Mommy put it right now.
... when persistence doesn't work, reverse psychology is the way to go.
Me: Is that so? OK. Let's just leave it there. You don't need to put anything into the bin.
Aga: (picking up the wrapper off the floor and then run in the direction of the garbage bin) Aga throws to garbage!!


Scenario 2:

I was getting Agastya ready to go to school.
Me: Agaaaa... come on, let's eat and go to school..!
Aga: No.
Me: If you don't hurry up, you'll be late.
Aga: No. Later.
Me: If you're late, the teacher will be mad at you.
Aga: Lateeeeeer!!
... now it's time to do reverse psychology.
Me: OK then. That's it. You don't have to eat. (walking away from him)
Aga: Eat eat eat! Mommy... I want to eat! (following me)..

And this is how he looked like this morning.. ready to go to school!! It's "Dancing Day" today so what better way to come to school than dressing up like Shah Rukh Khan ready to shake the dance floor??!! Make way, Shah Rukh! Beware, Tendulkar! This is Mega Star we have here!!!

Babbling Lila

This is one of the examples of how good she is. She can do this for about 5 minutes (all by herself), and then put herself to sleep.

PS: I noticed in Blogger now you can do video blogging straight from blogger site. Unfortunately I have already uploaded the video into youtube, so I'll try it next time.

The best buddies

Aga and Vio playing in the school ground. One word to describe it. Hilarious. Just watch it.



Did I tell you that Vio is Aga's best friend? They're "the cute couple" in the class. Inseparable.

PS: I've tried to make better video quality. Let me know if this is better than the previous ones. Video of Lila (not so hilarious though) coming soon. Stay tuned.

Here a click there a click...

A quick post because I want to show Joe pictures of Lila with the vests he sent us.

In ALMOST ALL the pictures, she's smiling. I swear on God. I had to try very hard to click a picture when she's NOT smiling. At first a trick which would do the job perfectly (to make her smile for the pictures) was blowing air slowly on her hair. I did that a few times, and now she just smiles automatically when she sees my camera! Camera gone and she stops posing, camera on her again and she smiles! Even giggles! Huh! I guess narcissism can develop in a very young age. Maybe she knows she's a cutey and absolutely loves being clicked. Here a click there a click everywhere a click click..
